Neither one covers you. That UKGC account applies to customers in Great Britain and stops at the border. Revenue, meanwhile, stopped issuing remote bookmaker licences on 5 February 2026, when the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland took the job over.

GRAI betting licences went live on 1 July 2026. Kwiff hasn't published one.

Now, some context, because this is the bit that gets misread constantly. There's no Irish casino licence in existence yet. Applications open around late 2026 and the licences themselves aren't expected until 2027, so every casino taking Irish players is running on UKGC licensing or a foreign badge and that's completely normal.

What matters is which badge. Malta (MGA) is the one you want, and a UKGC licence is its equivalent in Britain.
